Or bike riding some of the 20km of cycling track around the lake edges or even some dedicated mountain bike trails nearby. We have two mountain bikes available!

Pet friendly inside and out. 5 min walk to a nature reserve and Kotara rail station (Sydney line) 15-25 min to beach by car, bus or train very near (1-5 min walk)

Just a 10 minute walk to Warners Bay shops which offers a variety of excellent restaurants, coffee, a pub, bowling club and assorted shops. New Lambton, Kotara and Cardiff are a short distance or take to the nearby bushwalking tracks and explore the native wildlife at Blackbutt Reserve and stunning native birds surround us. The property is at the very start of Ironbark Creek which is a permanent creek so you will enjoy all the native wildlife that comes with that.

Studio apartment in a quiet suburb, below our home with a nature reserve at the rear. Only five mins drive from Newcastle's John Hunter Hospital. Near the Hunter Expressway and M1 Link Rd. Light and airy, with quiet air conditioning. Separate front entry, including an easy stairway from the street level. Combination lock on the front door, so no key to collect. The code is issued when booking is finalised. Andrew and I are regular Airbnb guests and now enjoy being hosts too.

Westfield Kotara is nearby and Newcastle CBD a short drive away. Access to public transport is only a 4min walk away.

Newcastle Uni is moments away, John Hunter Hospital is a 7 minute drive. Private entry through the garage & you are welcomed to a leafy backdrop & creature comforts of home. Coles shopping centre, boutiques, banks, post office, newsagent, restaurants, cafes, takeaways, hotel and bowling club are nearby. By car it’s a 20 minute drive to Newcastle, Merewether and Nobbys beach. The closest major shopping centres are Mt Hutton, Charlestown and Kotara.
