Welcome to our newly built self contained unit on our Southland sheep farm. You will have your own personal space and private bedroom and bathroom. There is a small kitchen available and a microwave in the unit or if you wish you could head to the nearby Waikaia Hotel or we are happy for you to use the kitchen in our home.
“Wendy ga oss en omvisning på gården, som var så kult! Vi fikk til og med se saueskjæring. Rommet var adskilt fra huset og innsjekking var lett, døren var åpen. Det var så fint opphold som vi hadde gjort mye kjøring. Vi var i stand til å gå rundt gården når vi ønsket eller bare sitte på terrassen og mate sauene :) Det var så avslappende. Åh, og det var en dartbrett! Vi elsker dart, så vi var veldig glade. Takk til Wendy for å la oss bruke mikrobølgeovn også. Samlet et veldig fint opphold! Vil absolutt anbefale.”

Crosshill Farmstead is located on a 2000 acre second generation sheep and beef farm in the Hokonui Hills tussock country. One of two homesteads on the property, the Farmstead is large and spacious, comfortably furnished and lovingly cared for by your host Clare Ryan. Crosshill has an expansive, beautiful garden of mature trees, colourful flowers and organic vegetables. The Waimea Stream, renowned brown trout fishing, runs for 2km through the bottom of the farm, 400m from the Farmstead.
