Use as a base camp to boating, fishing, hiking/jeep/mountain bike trails & more! Perfect for a couple or small family, its small footprint is efficient w/a Queen bed, a twin loft overhead, plus a full sleep sofa in the LR. Pet (max 2) & trailer friendly circular drive. There are no cameras in the house or on the property. We are 5 minutes from Carolina's Treetop challenge. Charlotte is 1 hour away. Fifteen minutes to Morrow Mountain, Lake Tillery- Badin Lake, and Uwharrie recreational area. 8 miles to Dennis Vineyards. Asheboro Zoo is one hour. Each guest over one is an additional $15 per day per person—kids under 2 N/C. $10 per day per animal. PETS MUST BE CRATED WHEN HOME ALONE. Airbnb cannot add the correct pet fee; we will request it after booking.

Welcome to The Tacklebox. This cabin has all you need for a perfect getaway on a relaxed working farm. Perfect for a party of three or a nice romantic stay. The cabin is rustic with all the amenities you’ll need! The farm is a 125 acres with 3 stocked ponds. Bring a fishing rod and try your luck at catch and release fishing. You will have the opportunity to see many animals on the farm including dogs. Your dogs are welcome too for an additional fee. We also have horseback riding for a fee.
