Excellent views from our cheerful house by the sea

Our quaint, cosy house in Ferryden offers a wonderful holiday or short break experience for 2-4 people. The views from the house are stunning, ideally located just 15 steps from a small beach, or a short walk to the lighthouse. There's a village pub closeby, a good bus service and only a 20 -30 minute walk to Montrose where you'll find excellent restaurants and pubs, cinema, and a train station. There are so many things to do in the area including walking, fishing, photography, bird watching.

Accessed by a spiral staircase your space comprises 2 bedrooms for 4 people over two floors in a private wing of the castle with bathroom and small sitting room. Full breakfast included. Set in the foothills of the Cairngorm National Park, this is an ideal stop off between Inverness and Edinburgh. Balmoral Castle, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and St Andrews are nearby. Berry View is situated on a quiet berry and cherry farm on the outskirts of Blairgowrie. Enjoy free pick your own blueberries during August and September! The location is perfect for guests who want to enjoy a peaceful getaway but still have easy access to town facilities. The cosy cottage has all you need to enjoy a relaxing time away. The rear of the cottage has an enclosed patio, perfect for those visiting with pets. Guests can also enjoy access to a private beach by the river.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Created from an indoor swimming pool this modern, edge of town, holiday venue has all you need to enjoy a peaceful stay. Shops and eating places are a short walk away and there are many historic attractions to visit in rural Angus. A twenty minute drive takes you into the Angus glens which boast some of the best walking and climbing destinations in Scotland. Dundee is half-an-hour's drive south and Aberdeen an hour's drive northwards.

The “Wee Bothy” offers a great base to explore the North East Coast, our scenic Angus Glens, and nearby Towns and Cities with places of interest all around. The Seaside/Harbour town of Arbroath is a 5 min drive away, with lots of lovely Cafes, Restaurants, Cinema and Theatre. Golfing, Fishing , Kayaking round the Cliffs and Walking, are plentiful in and around the area with Carnoustie Golf Links a 15 minute drive. Bus and Train Station in town for those who want to venture further.

Surrounded by the woods and fields of secluded , from this little place you can walk or cycle for miles, undisturbed; or be still, and listen to the silence. Red squirrels scamper. Red kites soar.
