Bet Bet Creek Homestead

A large, family friendly, country home, Bet Bet Creek Homestead is a tranquil getaway set on the banks of the Bet Bet Creek. Situated between the rural towns of Maryborough and Avoca, our charming mud brick house can comfortably sleep 8 people, with its four bedrooms and two living areas. There is a large outdoor area with an outdoor fire and gas BBQ, lounge and dining table. Be sure not to miss the sensational sunset over the front paddock or a walk along the creek.

The Barn at Weatherboard

Set among an abundant and lively garden, The Barn is our fully detached, unique guest house. The building was originally a fully functional blue stone farm barn but since owning the property we have converted the space into an open plan house, complete with kitchen, bathroom, large living area and two mezzanine bedrooms. The outside remains in its original state while the inside has been decorated with a collection of artwork and objects from our travels overseas.

Those into degustational delights will enjoy the local wineries, fine dining and farmers markets.

There are two separate lounge areas, one with a cozy wood fire and TV, and the other with a reading area. The landscaped gardens and multi-level decks, feature outdoor dining and a 10 person outdoor spa, with views over the oak trees and valley.

Surrounded by native planting you’ll enjoy the local wildlife and views to Paddy’s Ranges from the front veranda. Bush walking and fishing spots are nearby as well as wineries and small towns rich in Gold Mining history. Monaukai Cottage is a peaceful escape to nature only two hours from Melbourne.
