Sahara désert camp

Sleep under the stars of the Sahara Wake up in the middle of the desert, with silence as your only companion and a horizon of dunes all around you. Our camp in the heart of the Moroccan Sahara offers an authentic experience, far from noise and rush. The space Two traditional small houses with floor mattresses in the Berber style, a haima (nomadic tent) for meals, a shaded area with palm trees, rugs and a hammock to rest, and an outdoor space with a swing and fire pit. All under a sky full of stars with no light pollution. Breakfast included Every morning you'll have breakfast with local products in the haima. We can also prepare lunch and dinner, including vegan and vegetarian options. If you want the full experience, ask us for bread cooked in the desert sand — a ritual you won't forget. How to get there On foot (45 min on flat terrain), by 4x4 or by camel. If you want to arrive by camel, let us know in advance and we'll book one for you. We depart from Ksar Bounou. Our Mhamid Desert Camp is set a step away from the famous village of Mhamid, staying our Camp gives you the opportunity to watch breathtaking sunsets and sunrises, lose your self in the silence and peacefulness of our charming Berber tents as well as enjoy Berber campfires with traditional music, excellent traditional diners and breakfasts. You will also have the chance to join one of our desert tours run by our Berber team.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, La Petite Kasbah is a small traditional Moroccan Riad in the town of Zagora, precisely in a neighbourhood called Amezrou. All rooms offers air-conditioning with a private bathroom and the coziness to feel at home with an amazing view. My riad is located in m'Hamid, where roads end and the Sahara begins. M'Hamid is located 100km South of Zagora, about one hour by car. One can't find to sleep closer to the desert short of planting a tent! The village is quiet and peaceful and my riad is a traditional house built around a lovely relaxing courtyard where you can gaze at the stars while sipping your tea!
