Cabin/Tiny Home. Relax & enjoy amazing mtn. views, 200 acres of trails, woods, pastures, farm, & fields. HURRICANE HELENE: TRAILS ARE NOT COMPLETELY ACCESSIBLE NOW DUE TO HELENE. Our trails & woods have been ravaged with 100's of trees down. Many trails are still not cleared. Our 1.5 mile upper ridge trail loop and one river trail are now open. Pastures and fields are mostly cleared and all areas around the cottage are completely cleared with amazing long range views of fields and mountains.

This is our old home place on the farm were I was raised here with my grand parents. It was remodeled in 2006 with lots of love and holds a special place in our lives. A place to come and relax by the creek. Sit on the porch and rock in the evenings. Fire Pit available by advanced request down by the creek. This is a comfortable & spacious basement apartment that has a living/dining room with a fully stocked kitchen on the ground floor & 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom up a 1/2 flight of stairs. Guests have a separate entrance down a slight incline from parking area. Private patio is perfect to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or just relax. We are unable to accept children under 4. Up to 2 medium sized dogs are welcome for a fee. No cats. Airbnb account holder must be onsite during entire stay.

The hot tub with the view of the river & the firepit with wood furnished is a great way to spend the day outdoors… hiking, Fly fishing, tubing , kayaking or just relaxing watching for wildlife that happens by is a great way to spend the day. Dining, winery’s , skiing & shopping close by.

Come stay minutes away from the beautiful Linville Gorge. This area has everything from amazing hiking, mountain biking, climbing, skiing, snowtubing, to just enjoying the breathtaking scenery. This is a one bedroom guest house separate from the main house located in the neighborhood of Gingercake Acres with an amazing view throughout the space. There is also a bonus room with a futon. Enjoy sitting on the deck and enjoying a view of the mountains and a spectacular sunrise.
