The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

Off The Beaten Path - Choose This Private Gem

The unit was freshly painted and, even though it is on the second floor, it has two large wall ac units to keep you cool as a cucumber in the hot weather and also have a heating component to keep everyone warm in the winter. There is a small dining area to eat the prepared foods made in a full walk in kitchen, or takeout food re-heated in the microwave. Also, the coffee is on us with the Keurig coffee maker.

First floor is an open concept with new appliances in the kitchen and a cozy living area with loveseat and dining table. Frog Hollow Cottage is a newly renovated getaway located in the heart of the Chester County’s rolling farmland and equestrian community. Overlooking beautiful pastures, the cottage was formerly the large painting studio of Delaware Valley artist Peter Sculthorpe. The studio has been re-imagined as a peaceful retreat for families, friends and couples.
