Outdoor Enthusiasts Cabin, Near AuSable River, Mio

Our subdivision is ideally situated among thousands of acres of public land near the beautiful Au Sable River. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and full of nature. Come and enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer, including hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, trail riding, kayaking, tubing, canoeing, etc. A boat launch for the Au Sable River, an ORV trailhead and DJs Scenic Bar are within a mile of the cabin (in McKinley). Hiking and skiing trails are 10-15 minutes from the cabin.

Unique Woods Retreat ~ Quiet place in Nature

Our cabin in the woods is a quiet refuge, not a party place. Built with many unique features: log cabin room with vaulted ceiling, log walls in kitchenette/upstairs small dinette seating area and log wall in sunroom. Carriage style Barn doors, from grandparents old chicken coop. The metal stair railing designed & laser cut with pine trees. Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.

Lakefront Cabin on Thunder Bay

Relax with the whole family in this cozy log cabin located on the north end of Thunder Bay, just a three mile drive from downtown Alpena. Enjoy your own private beach with a grill, fire pit, and two kayaks you can launch right from our beach. Go fishing from the dock, soak in the hot tub, or just enjoy sitting on the porch watching the boats and ships sailing the lake. The cabin looks out at the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary and sits on the Sunrise Coast Birding Trail.

A fixer-upper. The house is ready now with some ongoing projects. The house is one bedroom on top of a two-car garage so being able to climb steps is a must to enter the living space. The house is located in town. Less than a 5-minute stroll to the lake passing a coffee and ice cream shop, a consignment shop, an art gallery, etc. This is a great place to stay for the Harbor Town Weekend in September. Location, View, Hot Tub, Shop, Restaurants, Beach

My place is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown Alpena. There are a variety of restaurants and bars all within 1/4 mile. Lake Huron is my front yard, with tennis and basketball courts available for public use. The Alpena bandshell is a hop and skip from my house; every Saturday there’s a concert in the summer. There are two public beaches within a mile. And you can see masts from sailboats out my front window as the boat harbor is my neighbor.

2nd Retreat

This bright and quaint historical little house is one block from the downtown district. This 2nd retreat has a charming enclosed front porch for sitting, a quiet serene space to enjoy your morning coffee or glass of wine, to read a book or just to sit and relax. We are in walking distance to a great Ice cream shop , the local winery, a quaint coffee shop, Mango's for margarita's and end the evening with the local movie theater. Enjoy the small town dynamic.

Modern cabin on the Thunder bay river

This modern rustic Up North cabin that offers 120 feet on the Thunder bay river! Cabin is located on a private Rd. which gives you the true Up North feel but is only a 15 minute drive to Alpena! Enjoy fishing, kayaking, tubing, swimming as well as hikes on the nearby state land! Property has it's own boat launch, fire pit and also 6 kayaks (4 adult and 2 kids) for you to use! Cabin also includes WiFi, smart TV, outdoor grill.

Step into a storybook escape at our charming 1915 Victorian home in Old Towne Alpena. This spacious 5-bedroom, 2-bath home is perfect for groups of up to 12 guests. Each bedroom features elegant period furniture paired with plush, modern mattresses. The main floor offers two bedrooms and a recently renovated full bath with a walk-in shower, while the upper level includes three more bedrooms, a full bath with a claw-foot tub.

My place is less than a block from Restaurants, an outdoor Splash Park, and beaches along Lake Huron. Within walking distance is a park with basketball and tennis courts, a bandshell for outdoor concerts in summer and more beach access. If you're looking for a night in, the backyard is private with a firepit and hot tub, or enjoy the game/activity room downstairs.

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of fun. This rustic cottage is on Lake Huron between Alpena and Ossineke. Great location to bask in the sun, swim, fish, visit Mackinac Island, see Ocqueoc Falls,, ice fish, ski, snow mobile, camp fires and so much more. Amazing spot to unplug and spend quality time with family.
