The cottage is directly across from Attingham Park, an 18th-century Regency mansion estate set within 200 acres of parkland managed by the National Trust.

For those wanting a quiet, rural break, guests can enjoy the many public footpaths that surround the village. Attractions nearby include Weston Park, RAF Cosford and the Ironbridge Gorge Museums. For those wanting to explore further, the historic towns of Bridgnorth & Shrewsbury are within easy driving distance, Birmingham too can be reached easily by car or train.

The town is located within a 20-30 minute drive of larger towns; Telford, Shrewsbury, Newport, Newcastle and Nantwich making it a perfect base for a short break.
