Enjoy our 160 acres in a private natural setting. Owls, trout, heron, osprey, mergansers and the occasional loon will add to your stay. There are over 4 miles of private trails for hiking along the river and in the woods. Kayaks & fishing poles provided. Enjoy a romantic riverside fire-pit, professional massage table & new Finnish wood fired sauna. We sanitize everything 110% before your arrival and offer self check in. Paddle the lazy river in a canoe or relax in the hammock. Rolling Rapids Retreat is a private riverside cabin that is designed for couples or solo travellers.

Mapleridge Cabin

On top of a ridge of Sugar Maples is a 400 sq foot cabin sitting on a lovely piece of Canadian Shield. The cabin is open concept and is well appointed with a super comfy queen-sized bed, a wood stove, and an off-grid kitchen, additional sleeping is on a sofa bed. This is glamping at its finest! The cabin is located at the rear of our 20-acre property with trails and wildlife to explore. ***Please note that you will have to walk approximately 200 metres to the cabin from cabin.

Cottontail Cabin, nestled on 22 acres of serene woods! This is the perfect retreat for those seeking a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway in the heart of nature. The cabin is fully equipped with all the amenities you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. With 2 bedrooms and a pull out couch, the cabin can accommodate up to 6 guests. The cabin features infloor heating and a woodstove to keep you warm and cozy. We have a full-size hot tub and a wood fired sauna!

PERCHED CABIN at Mariposa Farm

The Perched cabin is one of our three cabins. We also have the Apple Tree and the Poplar cabin. This is glamping at its best. Window walls letting light into every side. A sleeping loft. Built with logs. Well equipped for cooking. Heated with woodstove - firewood included. In the middle of the forest. A lot of trails to enjoy. No neighbours. The perfect spot to unwind. We are farmers, a precise time of arrival is important. You are welcome to visit the farm.

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
