Welcome to the A-frame at Finch Creek. A one-of-a-kind Northern Michigan getaway overlooking Finch Creek and completely surrounded by the Grass River Natural Area. We renovated this 1970s cabin from the ground up and designed it to feel open and connected to the landscape. With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, massive picture windows, a fireplace to curl up next to, and just minutes from some of the most stunning lakes in the state, it’s the perfect home base for exploring or doing nothing at all.

Cabin is studio style, with queen bed and 2 futons with 425 square feet of living space. SLEEPS: 5 or 6 (1 queen bed, 2 sleeper sofas). one sleeper sofa can fit 2 children but probably just 1 adult. The House on the Hill

This house is located outside Alden. It sits on 35 acres and is 1/4 of a mile from the road. The location is rural, secluded and quiet. There is ample parking for boats and recreational vehicles. The view from the deck is spectacular, you can see out over 10 miles. It's private and has a wide wraparound deck, with a covered area at the front. It's perfect for grilling, relaxing and watching the sky after a day out. The kitchen is open and provides a lot of space for food preparation.

We are only a 15 minute drive to Shanty Creek Resort, where you can ski on 2 mountains in the winter, and golf 5 Championship courses in the summer. The cottage is also only a 10 minute drive to Bellaire, home of Short's Brewery. Enjoy everything Northern Michigan has to offer, any season of the year. Enjoy this beautifully updated, 100 year old cottage.

Great for family summer vacation or cozy ski weekends. Very strong Wifi for folks that want to school and work from "vacation"!
