Located 5 mins downhill is a lovely swim spot , white sand beach or some lovely rockpools for children to play. Ahipara has a lovely children’s play ground and pump track.

A haven for relaxation surrounded by native birds, including kiwis, tuis, fantails and wood pigeons, all living on the property. Enjoy a wine on the veranda and watch the boats go by or take a swim at Opito bay- just 5 minutes away. Plenty of room to park the boat plus two launching ramps, a ski lane and some of the best fishing NZ has to offer!

Ahipara Surf Breaks

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.

Welcome to Studio Blak, a brand new self contained open planned space to kick back an unwind after a trip to Cape Reinga, a day at the beach or work away from home! Located in Ahipara, a small coastal town 15mins drive from Kaitaia. You’ll find us in a quiet, safe residential subdivision a 5min walk to the local cafe, fish n chips & dairy! A short 2 minute drive or 15min walk to the beach!

Waterfront historic Bakery cottage

Located on the shores of the tranquil Mangonui harbour with Doubtless Bay beaches very close by. She (the cottage) is cute and eclectic with spaces to sit, relax and enjoy the view and location. Its a short walk to Mangonui village shops and cafes. The covered courtyard at the rear of the property is private, furnished and with a Weber BBQ to enjoy outdoor dining.

Hey everyone- Michaela here! I live here in Northlands slice of paradise- Ahipara! Im a working professional but love to explore my backyard with the plentiful activities it offers. Surfing, fishing, horse riding, diving or simply laying in the sun on 90 mile beach. Although you’ll be staying at my place in a subdivision it’s super private and quiet!
