Shepherd's Hut with views of the Old Man of Storr

Escape to Skye in our cosy hut in the heart of the most exciting scenery in the world. 5 min walk to Kilt Rock and a patio with spectacular views of the mountains. 10 mins drive to the Storr or the Quiraing for walking and to Staffin Beach with dinosaur footprints. You won't forget this trip any time soon! The hut is well insulated for Winter, fully equipped and is decorated with photographs by the owner, a professional landscape photographer. Perfect for Photographers, Artists and Hill Walkers.

Aldercroft Pod

Aldercroft Pod is a Luxury Glamping Pod situated in Inverinate, with views of Loch Duich and the 5 sisters of Kintail. The pod is 2.5 miles from Dornie and Eilean Donan Castle. We are 13miles from the Skye Bridge and Isle of Skye. Ideal base for hillwalking in Kintail and Glenshiel. The Pod is located in our garden space, around 20 meters from the house but still very private and with a better view! We are located just off the A87 which is the (busy at times) main road to the Isle of Skye!

Samphire Lodge with sauna - stunning loch views

A stunning three bedroom Highland lodge on The North Route 500, boasting spectacular views. Samphire lodge is situated on a hill giving it a vantage overlooking the sea Loch to the Attadale valley. Situated at the edge of the village, you are a short stroll from local amenities. Indoors you are greeted by the warm colour of the wood, and feels especially cosy when the cast iron fire is roaring. Samphire Lodge has three spacious bedrooms, a wet room, an outdoor sauna and fully equipped kitchen.

Achnashellach Bothy, cosy home in mountain scenery

Achnashellach Bothy is a cosy cottage set in a mature garden, in Strathcarron. Lochcarron village is nearby. The cottage is on the NC500 route and is set in magnificent mountain scenery. A perfect base for walkers and mountain bikers to explore the West Coast and the Isle of Skye. The cottage is conveniently and centrally located for touring near to the Torridon Munros, Beinn Eighe Nature reserve, Loch Maree, the Corrieshalloch gorge, Applecross, as well as many stunning West Coast beaches.

The Ticket Office at Strathcarron Station is a luxury self catering apartment on the famous Kyle Line, one of the “Great Railway Journeys”. Enjoy a relaxing break in this two bedroom ground floor disabled friendly apartment. Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

A delightful place to stay and newly finished in May 2019 'The Wee House' can be found right next door to our own (slightly bigger) house, 'Heisgeir'. We will be on hand just next door to give you a warm welcome and to ensure your stay with us, and whilst you explore the Skye and Lochalsh area , is both enjoyable and peaceful. Being born and brought up in the area we hope our local knowledge will allow you make the most of your trip.
