The Gateway-Getaway is only about three miles from Mount Desert Island (MDI) where you will find Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor. The apartment is perfect for 1-2 people. You will stay in an efficiency apartment above our detached garage which is in a quiet location (although occasionally our dogs bark when outside). Walk to the Causeway via the Grover Path in 15 minutes. 5-minute walk to the Cadillac South Ridge Trail. Large high-ceiling studio with private parking and entrance with beautiful sheltered second-story deck. We are on the Blackwoods/Bar Harbor bus route so you can catch the free Island Explorer LL Bean buses to Bar Harbor and back.

A public pool is just across the street (July–August). Settle in, slow down, and enjoy the island life - Maine style.

The Farm By The Sea Private Apartment

The Farm By The Sea is a place to unwind and take in some nature. Private Beach. Kayakers dream. The Farm sits on 5 acres on the ocean in Trenton. A short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. You may enjoy dipping your toes at the oceans edge or you may like to just watch the garden grow. The apartment is self sufficient with private bathroom and entrance. We would want you to know that we may be up early mornings along with the chickens so early risers would do best here.

Taunton Bay View Apartment

Two bedroom Private Guest suite encompasses the entire second floor of a beautiful country home on the Shore of Taunton Bay. Suite has it's own private entrance on first floor which includes large foyer and stairs leading up to a Dining & Sitting area. French Doors lead to a small upper deck overlooking the Bay. The two large bedrooms have windows overlooking the bay. A kitchenette is located in a separate area between the living area and master bedroom.

Rabbitrock Retreat

Coastal village. Rabbitrock Retreat is located towards the end of a dirt road among wildflower meadows and apple trees, quiet except for the sound of birds and distant church bells. It is named after a local landmark Rabbit Rock that exists in the woods near our house, known only by the locals who used to say you could “always catch a rabbit at Rabbit Rock”. It is a place of abundance for sure, and we are happy to get to share it.
