Enjoy the lake with provided kayaks and be sure to bring your fishing pole. Soak in the hot tub and roast marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit.

You will be staying in a relaxing, freshly renovated basement apartment with air fryer, hotplate, microwave, toaster, coffee maker & private entrance. Our space is family and business friendly conveniently located just 5 miles from Interstate 71, 10 miles to Mid Ohio Race Track, Snow Trails, Malabar farm, & MANSFIELD Reformatory. Onsite parking and motorcycle friendly with covered parking for motorcycles only. Our home sleeps up to 3 guests with a queen bed and futon. Hot tub available!

Cabin on Shimmering Pond

This rustic 2-bedroom cabin is conveniently located on large private pond just outside the city limits of Mt. Vernon with shopping, dining, brewery and entertainment. We are pet friendly (additional $50 per stay, max 2 pets) with all the modern convenience, fully stocked kitchen, 50" flat screen smart TV, washer/dryer and fast internet. Outdoor fireplace/grill is the perfect hangout just steps from deck overlooking the large pond. 4-person paddle boat is there for use during your stay.

Historic Carriage House

Located in a historic district of Mount Vernon, the Carriage House has been renovated to infuse modern conveniences with historic charm. Just blocks from downtown, the Carriage House is 2 miles from Mt Vernon Nazarene University and 5.5 miles from Kenyon College. The Carriage House features a master suite in the loft with a comfy queen size bed and a separate sitting area with a 55" TV. The main level also has a youth suite in the transformed garage that kids and teens will love!

Tranquility Cottage

When you stay here the whole house is yours. You do not share any of the space here at Tranquility Cottage.. We are very close to the village of Gambier which is where Kenyon College is located. Apple Valley golf course is 5 minutes away open to public. Mohican State park and canoeing is 20 minutes away in the beautiful village of Loudonville. Lots of fun shops there too. Amish country is approximately an hour away. Historic Roscoe village is also approximately an hour away.

Arrowhead Ridge Off-Grid Cabin #2 No hidden fees!

This new cabin is one of two on the property. Both cabins are private and off-grid (no power or running water). This cabin is accessed through a mowed field by a camp Jeep (provided) and has the amenities shown in the photos. It overlooks a creek and is a great place to view wild-life and get back to nature and unplug from the hectic pace of life. Play cards/games, read, hike and make memories.
